The Jean-Paul Dionne Symposium Organizing Committee is looking for volunteers to help with abstract peer review. You do not need to have previous experience in peer review to volunteer!
Peer review is a great opportunity to share knowledge with your colleagues and enhance your academic resume.
How does it work?
As a peer reviewer, you will need to fill out a form indicating your areas of expertise and how many abstracts you wish to review. Then, on January 10, 2022, the Committee will assign 300-word abstracts to you with roughly a three-week deadline (Deadline: January 28, 2022). For each abstract you review, you will be provided a simple online evaluation grid with straightforward criteria.
This year, the JPDS and the Critical Research Collective are teaming up to offer a workshop on peer reviewing. This workshop will happen on January 24, 2022 at 4:30PM. In case you missed it, we would encourage you to examine the recording.
