All proposal submissions must include an abstract and a bibliography.
Abstract. Proposal abstracts should be a summary of the planned presentation and should not exceed 300 words.
For papers, roundtables, and research posters, it is recommended that abstracts include the following:
- a problem statement or research question;
- a brief description of the conceptual/theoretical framework or model;
- an overview of the methodology used or to be used; and/or
- the main findings or conclusions
For workshops and alternative media exhibits, the abstract should summarize the intent of the presentation, how the presentation will engage and support emerging researchers.
Bibliography. The proposal bibliography should conform to APA 6th edition formatting. The bibliography does not contribute to the word count.
